Inclusive Partnerships
WHAT?
Inclusive Parnerships are collaborations where all partners involved are considered of equal rights and importance despite their power levels, and the value generated is fairly distributed among participating stakeholders.
WHY?
Hybrid partnerships are essential to scaling inclusive impact in Base of the Pyramid (BoP) markets, yet they are challenging to develop and deploy. Power dynamics, lack of a shared language, and pressures for short term gains are among the factors that prevent partnerships from being trully inclusive, and jeopardize the partnerships' sustainability and impact.
HOW?
The Partnership Co-design Toolkit (P.ACT) offers a disciplined approach to co-designing resilient value chain partnerships. Consisting of 12 tools organized around the co-design process, P.ACT enables practitioners to:
- ✓ Facilitate negotiation between partners
- ✓ Build stronger relationships within the partnership group
- ✓ Accelerate the partnership development process
- ✓ Increase the partnership success rate
